Primavera Sound is the one people bring up when they argue that a festival lineup can be genuinely good rather than merely big. It happens at Parc del Forum, on the sea side of Barcelona, and it has grown into a family of editions across two continents.
Barcelona 2027 is the 25th edition, 3 to 5 June, and tickets are already on sale.

One note on how we got this. Our date reading bot returned nothing for Primavera, because their site assembles itself in the browser and a plain fetch sees an empty shell. That is a limit of the tool, not an answer, so this page was read by hand in a browser instead. The bot now says so out loud rather than reporting nothing found.

The 24th edition ran in June 2026 and the festival has closed it out on its own news page. So 2027 is the next Barcelona edition.
