Who we are

Mainstage World is a magazine about music festivals around the world. It is published by 360 Business Tour, based in Brasov, Romania, which has been photographing and filming places in 360 degrees since long before this magazine existed.

We are a service area business and do not run a public counter, so there is no street address here. Write to the email above and it reaches a person.

Why a festival magazine from Romania

Because two of the biggest festivals in Europe happen a few hours up the road in Cluj, and because we have already been inside one of them with a 360 camera. Most festival coverage is written from a desk in another country, out of press releases. Ours starts on the ground, and when it does not, the page says so.

The standard

1. Every fact carries its source and the day we checked it. Not a vague reference to the official site, a link, and a date. If we could not check something, we say we could not check it.
2. We never publish a price, a date or a lineup we have not seen on the record. A rumour is labelled a rumour or it does not appear.
3. When something changes we date the change instead of quietly editing the page. See Corrections.
4. Other people's video is embedded, never copied. Photographs are ours, or from an official press pack cleared for editorial use, or properly licensed with the credit the licence asks for.
5. We say when we were not there. If we did not stand in the field, the page says so.
