Corrected on 9 August 2026. This page first went up that morning saying the 2027 dates had not been announced, which was true when it was written. The festival put 5 to 8 August 2027 on its own front page as the 2026 edition closed, so the page was wrong within hours and this is the fix. The old wording is quoted below rather than deleted.

The announcement landed as the 2026 edition finished, which is the pattern with festivals this size. The four day shape stays, Thursday to Sunday.
The correction, in full
This page went up on the morning of 9 August 2026 saying:
Nothing about 2027 is confirmed. At the time of writing, 9 August 2026, the festival's own site still shows the 2026 weekends and a thank you message.
That was true when it was written and wrong a few hours later, because the festival put the 2027 dates on its front page as the 2026 edition closed. We checked again, saw them, and rewrote the page the same day.
We are leaving the old wording visible instead of quietly swapping it, because a magazine that hides its corrections is not worth reading. That is the whole corrections policy in one example.
What is still unknown
The venue is not named on the front page. Every recent edition has been at Cluj Arena, so that is what we expect, not what we know. The rules for the edition, cashless, gates, bags and re-entry, are republished each year and are not out yet. Until they are, the honest guide is how UNTOLD 2026 worked.
